Lab 11: Molar Mass Determination of Hemoglobin by Size Exclusion Chromatography

Dr. Stephen Lukacs (August 2016)

Using gel chromatography you'll calibrate your column of gel and the instrument with dextran and myoglobin and then use that to determine the molar mass of hemoglobin.

The LPLC Instrument

(August 2016) Remember to hit "Mark" immediately after injecting the sample onto the column and don't allow the buffer to go below the top of the gel.
